Our Story

LockBreaker Escapes, LLC is a family-owned business.

After visiting the PNW for a wedding, we fell in love with the area and moved to the beautiful town of Bellingham in the Fall of 2020. By the time Spring came around, we had decided to further invest ourselves in our new community by starting an escape room business in Bellingham.

Our son had helped build and operate an escape room in the small town we’re from. He was having so much fun, we decided to look into it as a business ourselves. The more we looked into it, the more it made sense for us and for Bellingham.

When it came to creating our escape room business, we studied this growing industry, kept what we liked, and threw out the rest!

There’s no limit on how many clues you can get.
We don’t cram a bunch of strangers in a room.
You don’t fail the game if you have to leave the room.

These “rules” may be common in Seattle escape rooms, but we’re all about the fun—it’s why we moved to Bellingham!

So take as many clues as you want.
Enjoy your private booking with only your peeps.
And don’t worry about not being able to leave the room if you need to.

We focus on you having fun and being safe by only doing private bookings and sanitizing our rooms between each session as best as we can. And rather than focusing on a bunch of arbitrary rules, we focus on your booking being what you need it to be by accommodating you in whatever ways we’re able.
